Ordinary Rubber Gasket

Ordinary rubber gaskets are suitable for occasions where the temperature is ≤120°C; asbestos rubber gaskets are suitable for applications where the steam temperature is ≤450°C, the oil temperature is ≤350°C, and the pressure is ≤5MPa. For general corrosive media, acid-resistant asbestos sheets are commonly used. In high-voltage equipment and pipelines, lens-type or other-shaped metal gaskets made of materials such as copper, aluminum, steel 10, and stainless steel are used. The contact width between the high pressure gasket and the sealing surface is very narrow (line contact), and the sealing surface and the gasket have a very high processing finish.
