BASIC INFORMATION
There are three kinds of rubber materials for sealing strip: solid rubber, sponge rubber and hard rubber.
The hardness of hard rubber can reach Shore A95. Sealing strips are mostly made of rubber which is resistant to aging, low temperature, moisture and chemical corrosion, especially.
Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) is an ozone aging resistant rubber. EPDM can be coated with steel strip, steel braided strip, TPE, flannel, flocking, PU, etc.
Compound silicone coating ensures the waterproof, dust-proof, sound-proof, heat-proof, vibration-reducing, wear-proof and decorative functions of the car interior and the outside world as well as its own.
Generally, EPDM seals can be used stably for more than ten years. Chloroprene rubber (CR) with good ozone resistance and aging resistance can also be selected.
Considering the technological properties of common rubber compounds, rubber is sometimes used, such as natural rubber (NR) and CR, and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
Rubber or polyethylene (PE), EPDM and NR rubber-plastic blends are used to improve ozone resistance.
